Transfer Awareness Week Runs March 20-24
Each fall and spring semester, the Transfer Center hosts a week of services that educate students about transfer! This Transfer Awareness Week coincides with the fall and spring college fairs. During this week events include workshops on transferring to a CSU and UC, competitive admissions, special admissions programs, a CSU admissions panel with representatives from various CSUs, and finally a CSU Fullerton campus tour.
The following events will be hosted by the Transfer Center this week:
Monday, March 20
Transfer Basics 101: Transfer to the CSU & UC
Noon to 1 p.m.
Learn about transfer admissions requirements, selection criteria and tips for successful transfer.
Transfer Basics 201: Competitive Admissions
3 to 4 p.m.
Learn how to prepare for transfer to impacted & selective institutions.
Tuesday, March 21
Transfer Basics 301: Special Transfer Programs 12-1pm
Learn about special programs and guaranteed admissions agreements.
Transfer Alumni Panel
6 to 8 p.m.
FC Transfer Alumni share their transfer experiences
Thursday, March 23
College Fair
10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Campus Quad
Meet representatives from CSU, UC, Private, & Out of State Universities!’=
Friday, March 24
Tour of CSU, Fullerton and Chapman University
8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
All local tour fee of $5.00 refundable fee is required to RSVP. Due to District policy, tour participants must be admitted and enrolled Fullerton College students.
