Umoja Director Dr. Brandi Avila Named to Prestigious UCEA Jackson Scholars Program
Umoja Community Program Director, Dr. Brandi Avila is one of two students at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Education that has been accepted into the University Council for Education Administration (UCEA) Jackson Scholars Program for the 2021-2023 cohort. The program provides formal networking, mentoring, and professional development for graduate students of color who intend to pursue a career in educational leadership.
