Undocumented Student Action Week Begins October 16
The Grads to Be Program at Fullerton College invites the campus community to participate in the annual Undocumented Student Action Week (USAW) taking place Monday, Oct. 16 through Friday, Oct. 20.
Undocumented Student Action Week is a statewide effort led by the California Community Colleges and many other supporters to advance best practices for supporting undocumented student success, promote ways to collaborate across sectors, and advocate for budget and legislative action in support of the long-term success of undocumented students.
This year’s theme across all California Community Colleges is Creating Belonging for Undocumented Students which focuses on working toward building a strong ecosystem that breaks down silos and promotes a collaborative campus approach to ensure that all students can achieve their goals and dreams, regardless of their citizenship status.
The Grads to Be Program has created a robust list of USAW activities available on the Grads to Be USAW 2023 webpage. Anyone interested in attending the events are encouraged to complete the USAW Events RSVP Form.
