Unlocking Student Potential at KinderCaminata

Fullerton College is gearing up to welcome 1,500 local kindergarteners for the highly anticipated event known as KinderCaminata on April 12. Since 1995, the campus has invited students to participate in KinderCaminata, which offers a unique glimpse into the college experience that demonstrates how a college education and career readiness are a possibility for children and their families.

This year’s event will feature over 45 interactive college career stations and demonstrations organized by the Cadena Cultural Center and various Fullerton College departments, clubs and community organizations. The campus will welcome students from five different school districts in the local area, including Anaheim, Centralia, Fullerton, La Habra and Magnolia.

This event honors the memory of Mexican American labor activist César Chávez and instills his motto of “¡Si Se Puede!” (Yes, you can!), with the purpose of planting the seeds of education into future generations. To learn more, visit the KinderCaminata website.
