Veterans Appreciation Week is Nov. 4 – 7
Fullerton College will recognize and honor student-veterans, during Veterans Appreciation Week, November 4 – 7. The week will feature activities, workshops and events designed to foster support for and celebrate the more than 900 student-veterans, active-duty service members, reservists, and veteran-dependents attending Fullerton College.
All events are hosted by the Veterans Resource Center and are open to all students, faculty, staff and the community. Here is a list of events taking place throughout the week:
Monday, November 4
Veterans Week Opening Ceremony – 12 p.m. on the quad
Join the VRC and Fullerton College campus community to celebrate the start of Veterans Week. The opening ceremony will feature a color guard, distinguished speakers, and light refreshments.
Tuesday, November 5
Boldly United: Honoring Military Service and Activating Community Engagement with keynote speaker, Dr. Miatta Snetter and student veteran panel – 11:30 a.m. in Building 200, Room 224
Wednesday, November 6
Veterans Appreciation Lunch Social – 11:30 a.m. on the quad
All veterans eat free with proof of military service.
Thursday, November 7
The Best Military Movies of All Time as Voted By Student Veterans – 11:30 a.m. & 3 p.m. in Building 500, Room 518
