Voting Made Easy and Secure with Ballot Drop Box at Fullerton College
Voters are invited to submit their ballots starting Oct. 5 at an official Orange County Registrar of Voters Ballot Drop Box at Fullerton College through Election Day on Nov. 3. The Ballot Drop Box, conveniently located in Parking Lot 8 on Chapman Avenue, west of Berkeley Avenue, provides a secure and convenient way to participate in the General Election and will alleviate impact on the U.S. Postal Service.
“A historic amount of people will use absentee ballots this election, and this is a secure way to assure one’s vote is counted,” said Lisa McPheron, director of campus communications.
Fullerton College partnered with the Orange County Registrar of Voters before the Primary Election in March to have the Ballot Drop Box housed at the campus.
Ballots will be picked up every other day starting Oct. 5 through Oct. 23. Starting Saturday, Oct. 24 ballots will be picked up daily through Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Online voter registration is available until October 19. Visit the California Online Voter Registration Website to register to vote.
A note about safety
The majority of the campus continues to remain closed due to COVID-19. Anyone who comes to drop off their ballot will need to wear a mask and practice social distancing. The Ballot Drop Box may be used daily starting October 5, however, please note that Parking Lot 8 is used every Thursday for the Healthy Hornet Drive-Thru.
