VRC Hosts Vet Family Day
The Veterans Resource Center will host Vet Family Day on Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again in the evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in Building 200, Rooms 224-226 and 229. Veterans and dependents from Fullerton College and the surrounding community are encouraged to attend. Participants have the opportunity to attend one of three workshops during either the morning or evening session. The three workshops include,
- Veterans 21st Century Veterans: Learning to receive appreciation and accept assistance
- Veteran Support Systems Deeper Insight to your Vets: Understanding their readjustment needs
- Child Care Hosted by Fullerton College’s Child Development Department
After the workshops, participants can join in a question and answer session for further information about any of the workshops or FC veteran services. Food will be provided during the registration period before the workshops. Non-student attendees can receive a one-day parking permit to attend the event.
