Nguyen-Preciado Leads Presentation on Inclusive Language at CASE Conference
Fullerton College Communications specialist Stephanie Nguyen-Preciado was among presenters at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VII Conference, held Feb. 27 – March 1 in San Diego, CA.
Nguyen-Preciado led a session on inclusive language. Her session focused on incorporating inclusive language in everyday work, and stems from an inclusive language guide she created Cal State East Bay. The guide is a resource and tool for the university to use in their communication and marketing materials, to help the university to be more mindful of their language and its impact on others.
