The Fullerton College section was brimming with Hornet spirit throughout the game. Fans cheered loudly as they were treated to two home runs by the Angels’ Mike Trout. One fan whose cheers echoed loudly throughout the stadium was none other than Interim President Contreras, who was enjoying the festivities alongside his family.
Even though the Angels lost 5-4 to the Baltimore Orioles, Fullerton College was able to end the night on a high note. Fullerton College raised $2,896 for Students of Distinction scholarships. Students of Distinction annually honor 20 students, who have demonstrated outstanding achievement at Fullerton College. This year, awardees will be recognized and honored at a ceremony on Friday May 6 at 5 p.m. sponsored by the Office of Student Life and Leadership.
