Natural Sciences Students Embark on Exciting Undergraduate Research Opportunity 

Fullerton College is eager to announce that seven students in the natural sciences division have been accepted to California State University, Fullerton’s (CSUF) Undergraduate Research Experience program. 

The program provides transfer students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) the opportunity to conduct research at CSUF in an eight-week summer program. Selected students will be matched with a CSUF faculty member and will gain first-hand experience in scientific investigation in a collaborative research environment. Participants will also receive a $5,000 stipend for their research throughout the summer. 

The Undergraduate Research Experience is a component of CSUF’s Project Raise, an initiative that integrates a variety of equitable services aimed to increase enrollment persistence, retention and graduation rates of low-income STEM students of color.
