2025 Awards Ceremonies
Each graduate is welcome to participate in any of the individual department and program ceremonies leading up to the main commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 31.
Dates and times for the individual ceremonies are available below.
STUDENTS OF DISTINCTION AWARDS

Student Life and Leadership and Associated Students will host their 68th annual Students of Distinction awards ceremony to honor the recipients of the 2025 Students of Distinction award. Registration for this event has closed.
THE 62ND ANNUAL HUMANITIES TEA
Thursday, May 8, 3:30 p.m.
Building 2400 Courtyard
This annual event hosted by the Humanities Division honors scholarships and awards to students in its disciplines. Refreshments and music will begin at 3:30 p.m. Awards will start at 4 p.m.
STUDENT ART SHOW OPENING RECEPTION AND AWARDS
Thursday, May 8, 4-6 p.m.
Building 1000, Room 1004
Museum Studies students will feature their work in the art gallery in Building 1200, followed by an awards reception in the patio at 5 p.m. Awards will be awarded to artists whose works were chosen by President Cynthia Olivo and Dean Grant Linsell. Free coffee and snacks provided.
VRC GRADUATING AND TRANSFERRING STUDENT DINNER

The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) will honor graduating and transferring students with a special dinner. This event is open to military-connected students only.
