You’re Invited to Celebrate the New Student Support Center Grand Opening

Fullerton College is proud to invite students, employees and community members to the grand opening of our new Student Support Center (SSC) from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, September 19. This special event, co-hosted by BNBuilders, will take place at the SSC building located at the intersection of E. Chapman Avenue and N. Newell Place.

The celebration will feature opening remarks from Fullerton College President, Dr. Cynthia Olivo, and key North Orange County Community College leaders, as well as student speakers and a ribbon cutting ceremony. Attendees will be among the first to explore the new center, designed to enhance student success by centralizing vital resources, services and support programs in one location.

This impressive 23,192-square-foot facility features new offices, conference areas and welcoming spaces for our Cadena Cultural Center, LGBTQIA2S+ Resource Program, Grads to Be Program, Chris Lamm and Toni DuBois Memorial Food Bank, Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOPS), Foster Youth Success Initiative (FYSI), Student Health Services and the Veterans Resource Center.

Following the event ceremony, guests will be invited to enjoy an open house with  self-guided tours of the SSC and guided tours of the new Maintenance and Operations (M&O) building (located across Sherbeck Field), showcasing how Fullerton College is investing in modern and student-focused facilities.
