Azerbaijan in the World: Lecture and Q&A
The Social Sciences Department will host a lecture and Q&A session on Feb. 26 that will explore the role of Azerbaijan in the world, its relationship with the U.S., Israel, and neighbors such as Iran, Armenia, Russia and Turkey.
The guest speaker for this event will be the Honorable Nasimi Aghayev, the Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles. Aghayev will discuss the country’s opportunities and challenges for investors, including the national wealth fund’s role in providing matching funds for capital investments. Azerbaijan historical development and transformation will also be covered in this lecture.
This event will be held on Feb. 26 from 1:20-2:45 p.m. in room 1421. It is open to the students, staff, faculty and the Fullerton community.
