Azin Biatani Named Classified Professional of the Year
Fullerton College Classified Senate is pleased to announce that Azin Biatani of Academic Computing Technologies has been selected as the Classified Professional of the Year. Biatani was recognized along with Adam Zerue (Facilities), Alex Chum (Facilities), and Stephanie Rodriguez (Student Life & Leadership) during a Classified Appreciation Drive-Thru event on June 30. The event also recognized more than 40 staff members who had been nominated for the Spring 2021 recognition award.
Classified staff members attending the drive-thru event were treated to a boxed lunch and a Grubhub© gift card to use during remote work.
Biatani has been working as an IT Services Coordinator at Fullerton College for more than five years. Her peers said she “works hard to ensure that students, staff, and faculty have the technology that they need to succeed and is always willing to lend a hand where she can with a smile and great attitude.” During the pandemic, Biatani and her team worked around the clock to help the campus shift from in-person services to completely online. She is a team player and enjoys working collaboratively with others to get the job done.
Congratulations Azin!
