In an effort to encourage communication and strengthen teamwork across campus, President Rajen Vurdien has scheduled a series of Open Forums. All faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to attend. Open Forums are held once a month from 2 – 3 p.m. in Room 229 (unless otherwise noted).

This event is an informal gathering for the campus community to ask questions and have a dialogue with board members and the interim chancellor. This event will be held on May 11 from 9-10 a.m. in room 227.

Students and Staff of FC: Don’t forget to sign up for Love Fullerton and receive a free baseball cap! Baseball caps can be picked up in Building 100, Room 113! Volunteer for Love Fullerton, visit the event’s website to sign up.

The Horticulture Department will be having its Spring Plant Sale on May 2 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., May 3 from noon-3 p.m. and May 9 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be a large variety of plants to choose from. For more information, visit the Horticulture Department’s website.

10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the quad. Worldfest is a campus wide participatory celebration of world cultures, diversity, and the Earth (environmental issues). The primary purpose of Worldfest is to educate and celebrate diversity within the community and across the globe, as well as to raise awareness of the importance of current environmental issues.

The campus community is invited to a Teacher of the Year celebration reception in the honor of Francis Mummery on April 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the quad and will be honored at Fullerton College’s Commencement Ceremony on May 22.

Families are invited to attend this annual event specifically designed for graduating seniors and parents to help make a successful transition to Fullerton College. No RSVP needed. 6:30-8 p.m. in the Wilshire Auditorium and Quad. Sesión en español en el salón 224 a las 7-8 de la tarde.

The Fashion Department at Fullerton College is pleased to announce its spring 2015 fashion show, titled The Carousel of Fashion, on April 28 at 7 p.m. in the Wilshire Auditorium at 315 E. Wilshire Avenue. Admission to the show is free and open to the public.
