Explore, Discover and Declare Your Major at Major Discovery Day
The Counseling Division, in partnership with Student Life and Leadership and Associated Students, will host Fullerton College’s 5th annual Major Discovery Day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18 on the campus quad.
Previously called Major Declaration Day, Major Discovery Day offers an exclusive opportunity for students to explore the diverse range of academic disciplines and majors available at Fullerton College. This interactive event empowers students to make informed decisions about their academic future while receiving essential support from faculty, counselors and campus services.
Throughout the event, students can ask questions about majors, get guidance on educational plans and even change their major in the same day. Faculty members from various departments will be present to connect with prospective students, offering firsthand insights into the majors and courses they teach. Students can also meet with counselors for guidance on academic options, transfer and graduation requirements and to explore an array of degree and certificate programs.
There will be a resource fair with on-campus programs and student clubs, as well as a career exploration workshop to help undecided students evaluate their interests. In addition, two guest speakers will present workshops:
- CSUF College of Business and Economics Informational Workshop
- Host: Noel Quiñones, Assistant Director of College Access and Transitions for Outreach, Recruitment and Orientation at CSUF
- Time: 11 a.m. – noon
- Location: Cruz Reynoso Hall, Room 224
- Explore Your Future with AI Workshop
