Grant and Kennedy DeVries Named 2022 Students of the Year
Graduating students Grant and Kennedy DeVries were named the 2022 Students of the Year at the annual Students of Distinction celebration on May 6. They are among 20 students selected as the 2022 Students of Distinction. Recipients were selected through a nomination process involving faculty, staff, and fellow students. The awards are divided into four achievement categories: Academic, Competitive, Personal and Service.
The two students are siblings and have been attending Fullerton College since they were 14 years old. They were honored with 18 other students at the ceremony on May 6. Each student will receive a scholarship sponsored by Associated Students, Dr. Janet and Henry Emoto, Schlinger Students of Distinction, Fullerton College Faculty Wives, District Management Association (DMA), various donors from Fullerton College, and the Friends of the Fullerton College Foundation.
