LGBTQIA2S+ History Month
This October, Fullerton College is celebrating LGBTQIA2S+ History Month! The month of celebration was first nationally recognized in 2009 after being founded in 1994 by high school teacher Rodney Wilson. October was designated LGBTQIA2S+ History Month to coincide with National Coming Out Day on Oct. 11 and the first Washington D.C. march for gay rights, which took place on Oct. 14, 1979.
Throughout this month, join us to learn about LGBTQIA2S+ history, shine a light on the stories of intersectional queer identities and take meaningful action to support our queer community.
