Dr. Jorge Gamboa Named 2025 Manager of the Year
Dean of the Division of Social Sciences, Dr. Jorge Gamboa, was recently named 2025 Manager of the Year. Awarded by Faculty Senate through a nomination process, the Manager of the Year accolade celebrates the hard work, commitment and positive impact made by an administrator at Fullerton College.
Dr. Gamboa oversees the Division of Social Sciences, comprised of the anthropology, child development and education studies, economics, ethnic studies, geography, history, philosophy and religious studies, political science, psychology and sociology departments. His dedicated staff and faculty are responsible for molding our students into the future leaders and social justice advocates of tomorrow. Congratulations, Dr. Gamboa!
Fullerton College Welcomes 2025 Alumni of the Year Dr. Lupillo Ramírez of Northgate Mercado
Fullerton College is proud to announce its 2025 Alumni of the Year, Dr. Lupillo Ramírez. Dr. Ramírez is the Sr. Director of Innovation and Product Development at Northgate Mercado, a highly renowned grocery store owned by the Gonzalez family. This year, Fullerton College will recognize Dr. Ramírez at its 110th commencement ceremony.
