End-of-Year Celebrations Honor Identity and Belonging

In addition to Commencement on May 20, Fullerton College is hosting a variety of end-of-year celebrations across campus that celebrate graduates and student achievements. These celebrations are smaller and more intimate, offering students a sense of belonging within the greater campus community. The celebrations honor students’ intersectionality and identities by creating a space where they can celebrate within the community among the different programs, cultures, or identities they belong to.

In late April, the end-of-year celebrations kicked off with the Veterans Resource Center Graduation Celebration, which celebrated graduating/transferring military-connected students. The end-of-year celebrations will continue throughout May, leading to commencement on May 20.

Many celebrations are open to students completing a semester, while most are for students who are graduating or transferring.
